Tasks are the heart of Synlit. Capture anything you need to do — quick errands, deep work, long-running side projects — and check them off when you’re done. Nothing fancy, just a clean inbox that doesn’t get in your way.

What makes them different is the reward attached. Every task you create can carry a payout that lands in your balance the moment you complete it. Set it to whatever feels fair: a few coins for replying to an email, more for an hour of focused writing. Set it to zero and Synlit becomes a plain todo app.

Each task supports markdown notes, so you can paste context, links, or sub-steps directly into the task itself. The list scrolls infinitely and lazy-loads as you go, so you can keep adding without worrying about clutter.

Tasks feed into everything else: they show up in Analytics, they can drive Goal progress, and they pair naturally with the Focus Timer when you want to track time against a specific task.
